PHOTO STORY:

¬†¬† Bridges,¬†“only burn bad bridges, never know when you’ll need to cross again”.

this photo of the Manhattan bridge in New York City was taken at sunrise, while I was a passenger driving on the FDR eastside Manhattan. Even though I drove pass this location many mornings, it really took me by surprise that glorious day. ¬†The light of the sunrise was so inviting, the way it complimented the structure, I had to take a photo. This photo brings back the feeling of the warmth of sunrise I felt that day every time I look at it. The sunrise bridge photo also reminds me of an old saying which I modified, “never burn bridges you’ve crossed, it may be needed again”.

ABOUT THIS PHOTO:

¬†¬† Early one morning I took a walk on Coney Island beach, I found this creature, looks like it was caught upside-down by the tide that washed it to shore and sunk it into the sand, it could not move, I¬† thought it was dead. I didn’t know what it was so I moved it with my foot. To my surprise it wiggled. I rescued it, sending it back to the ocean, it swam away seemingly happy and I left like a hero.

ABOUT THIS PHOTO:

¬†¬† This winter day was cold, a blizzard was heading our way in New York City, normally the company I worked for would deem this a snow-day BUT… My co-worker, Crystal and I showed up early for work, before the bulletin was posted and the intended snowstorm start showing signs of coming in.¬†We was dispatched to Staten Island NY at about 6am, changes in the weather happened so abruptly that¬†by 9 am the entire Island was covered in¬†layers of white snow.

Heading back to the depot, we sighted a winter wonderland park and decided to stop for a closer look. We were like kids playing, throwing snow and rolling around, it was truly one of my happiest out-doors winter days as an adult. I got some Beautiful photos/shots that day including WINTER GAZEBO.

PHOTO STORY:

This photo was taken in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York on a spring morning.

Though I’ve run, speed walked pass or spend relaxing time close by this gazebo many times, on this particular day the sunrise made the ambiance irresistible¬†for a photo opt.
